Ohana Law Firm is looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in various areas of family law. As a Paralegal at Ohana Law Firm, you will be an integral part of our operations, assisting with case preparation, legal research, and client communications. Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and organization of case files, documentation, and exhibits.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
  • Maintain and manage case calendars, deadlines, and filing systems.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including organizing evidence and trial exhibits.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines throughout case management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a paralegal.
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of probate is preferred.
  • Knowledge of family law and legal terminology is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
