Overview

Industrial Laundry Technician position located at 865 Kinoole Street, Hilo HI 96720. Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $35.00/hr wage information and benefits are described below. An Industrial Laundry Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.

• Follow all procedures & policies regarding repairs & maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
• Support high performance in a professional healthcare & hospitality laundry environment through cleanliness and infection prevention.
• Work with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
• Projects and tasks may include:
• Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
• Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)
• Electrical

• Morning or evening shift available

• Position is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Position is regularly required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, talk, and hear.
• Position is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

• The wage is no less than $24.00 per hour. Overtime pay starts at $36.00 per hour.
• A higher rate than $24.00 may be offered; overtime rate is 1.5x the offered hourly rate.
• Pay period is weekly; a single work week is used to compute wages.
• Rate increases and/or bonuses may be offered at the Company’s discretion based on performance, skill, and tenure.
• Deductions as required by law. Participation in benefits plans may allow premium deductions with preauthorized written consent.

• Industrial facility environment with possible noise and vibration. Personal Protective Equipment may be required.
