RN - CCU

Must be flexible - Day or Night shift to be determined per roster period dependent on staffing needs. 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours) per week following the first week of orientation, along with 2 additional 12-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period. Floating to other units/departments may be required.

The ICU Nurse will provide critical care to patients in a high-acuity setting, utilizing advanced equipment and Meditech for monitoring and delivering patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using advanced medical equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other critical care and step-down units as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience.
• Current Hawaii Nursing License (must obtain before the start of the assignment).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (submit certification or complete an online course as part of orientation).
