* Job Description:
** - Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a dynamic Flex Pool.
- Float across various medical and surgical units, gaining diverse experience.
- ** Shift Details:** - 12-hour Day shifts (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled for 36 hours/week after the initial orientation.
- No guaranteed hours, offering flexibility in your schedule.
- ** Essential Requirements:** - Must possess a valid State of Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing required.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
- ** Work with Advanced Equipment:** - Meditech EMR - Pyxis - Wound vac - Chest tubes
- ** Floating Opportunities:** - Medical Unit - Laulima Unit (Surgical Acute) - Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
- ** Unit Details:** - Medical: 77 beds - Laulima: 18 beds - Cardiovascular: 15 beds
- ** Patient Ratios:** - Medical Unit: 1:6 days/evenings; 1:8 nights - Laulima: 1:6 - Cardiovascular: 1:4 - Ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves.
- ** Dress Code:** - Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs
- ** Orientation:** - Comprehensive training provided for each unit.
