Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active HI RN license and at least 2 years of interventional cath lab experience.

• Active HI RN license required upon acceptance
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab required
• Basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures required
• Basic understanding of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures required

• Work in the Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit of a hospital setting
• Performs IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and IABP insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Uses Meditech EMR, Sensis monitoring system, and Siemens equipment
• 2 cath labs on site with a 4-person call team
• Day shifts with varied times, either 8 or 10 hour shifts, 40 hours weekly
• Required to take call 1-2 days per week and approximately every 2-3 weekends, including holidays
• Demonstrates specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac cath, pacemaker, and IABP insertion procedures
• Maintains basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
