American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery/OB RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active HI RN license and at least 3 years of L&D experience.
Requirements- Active HI RN license required by start of assignment, with application upon offer acceptance if not already held
- Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications recommended
- Covers Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
- Unit includes 8 labor beds and 18 postpartum beds
- Cares for laboring mothers, assists with delivery, and provides immediate newborn and post-delivery maternal care
- Uses Meditech computerized charting system and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system
- Variable schedule with both day and night 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) after the first week of orientation
- Scheduled to take 12-hour call at least once per month
- No guarantee of hours or shift preference
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, requiring arrival in Hawaii by the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday morning appointment
