ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE:
Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. This team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. They also lead Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and safe experience.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) while maintaining compliance with laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Climb ladders, handle cash operations as needed, and move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable and prompt attendance required.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements related to Drive-Up and other duties.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of the shift.
