Merchandising Sales Associate

This job involves working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST) to perform tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and inventories, mainly in a single store. The role includes supporting merchandise assembly, fixture setup, signage maintenance, and delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular attendance and work scheduled shifts, primarily Monday through Thursday.
• Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding work progress and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts accurately.
• Perform price changes and hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise and fixtures as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service following GURA principles:
  Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and moving merchandise.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move, lift, push, and pull merchandise and operate equipment safely.
• Ability to stand, kneel, reach, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
