** Purpose of Job:
** Accurately and efficiently complete assigned tasks using a variety of equipment including RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment such as manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, WMS tools, and other shipping applications.  Provide back-up for delivery drivers.
** Job Components:
*** Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)
* Handle all product per the warehouse standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)
* Recondition, charge and refurbish used batteries
* Properly wrap and tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)
* Load and unload trucks safely
* Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies
* General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas)
* Interact professionally with all stakeholders including team members, managers and customers.
* Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers and serving as back-up for delivery drivers
* Other duties as assigned by management

* Qualifications:

*** High school graduate (or equivalent)
* Able to read, write and compute basic math
* Excellent communication skills required
* Minimum of one year experience in warehouse operations preferred
* Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
* Ability to multi-task, quickly transitioning from one function/task to the next.
* Demonstrates good organizational skills and can prioritize tasks
* Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency
* Must work effectively in a team environment
* Able to work overtime if requested.
* Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
* Valid CDL or Class 4 Hawaii driver's license. Must be able to maintain a DOT medical card.

*** Works under general supervision and guidance
** Work Environment:
*** Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, electricity, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
* Exposure to varying temperatures.
* Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* Regularly required to stand, walk, hear, talk, and use hands to grasp and handle
* Frequent, repetitive lifting up to 75 lbs.
* Continuous standing or walking
* Use of PPE required (steel toe boots, safety glasses, protective gloves, etc.)
