• Responsible for driving to and from designated locations, transporting soiled linen and delivering clean linen products to hotel customers, while verifying loads and adhering to state and Federal Regulations.
• Conduct Pre & Post Trip Inspection of truck
• Assist dispatchers and weigh masters by positioning carts in appropriate area and covering cart with plastic
• Load clean linen into trucks, checking to ensure accuracy of load against delivery ticket
• Drive truck to specified customer locations and unloads clean linen carts, interacting with hotel staff
• Communicate customer concerns or complaints promptly to Production or Logistics Manager on duty
• Complete trip sheet to reflect all stops, number of carts delivered, and number of carts retrieved
• Report any and all mechanical issues, accidents and/or incidents involving drivers or company equipment
• Promptly report any delays to supervisor/manager relating to pick-up or delivery of load
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle
• Professional representation of the Company and the trucking industry through responsible driving and appearance
• Drivers must comply with all Customers’ safety and delivery requirements
• Ability to pass a DOT exam and drug test

• Must possess a valid Commercial Class A or B Driver’s License
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) a must
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Exceptional customer service is mandatory

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a commercial truck
• Must be able to follow maps or directions to meet destination in a safe and efficient manner
• Able to understand and complete basic math

• Must be flexible
• Must work weekends and holidays
• Schedule times may vary depending on operational needs

• Assigned duties are accomplished primarily driving the truck and in an industrial setting
• Able to operate truck lift gate and back-up trucks correctly and safely into tight places
• Able to push/pull carts loaded with linen weighing up to 700 pounds
• May be in an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels

• The wage is no less than $24.00 per hour. Overtime pay starts at $36.00 per hour.
• A higher rate than $24.00 may be offered; overtime rate is 1.5x the offered hourly rate.
• Payroll period is weekly; pay date is Thursday after the end of the pay period.
• Rate increases and/or bonuses may be offered at the Company’s discretion, based on performance, skill, and tenure.
• Deductions are made as required by law. Employees may participate in benefits plans with premiums deducted by agreement.
• Any deductions will be preauthorized in writing.
