Sunspear Energy, a leading renewable energy solutions company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to oversee our warehouse operations in Hilo. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and safe management of all warehouse activities, including inventory control, procurement, and logistics.

• Loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks or containers.
• Labeling goods stored in the warehouse for easy inventory tracking and retrieval.
• Preparing shipping documents and handling logistics details for outgoing shipments.
• Inspecting inventory for damages and reporting these to management.
• Following health and safety guidelines and company-specific warehouse procedures.
• Assisting in the coordination of logistics and supply chain operations within the warehouse.

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe for all employees.
• Implement and maintain warehouse procedures and protocols to maximize efficiency.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize excess stock.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Use warehouse management software to track and manage inventory.

• Review construction plan sets to create material lists for sourcing via local vendor network.
• Order, pick up and/or deliver material from local vendor network to warehouse or job sites for installation of solar projects.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Work with shipping and logistics companies to optimize transportation efficiency and costs.

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety training and drills to maintain a safe working environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Have at least 1 year of construction experience and/or knowledge, industry best practices of PV industry preferred
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to transportation.
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
