Teacher, Teacher Assistant​/ Paraprofessional

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher at Hilton Head Preparatory School, located in Hilton Head Island, SC. The Teacher will be responsible for delivering an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum aligned with the school’s academic standards. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, individualized student support, grading, and assessment. Collaboration with fellow educators and communication with families to support student success is also essential.

• Strong teaching expertise, including lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of subject-specific content and curriculum development
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Proficiency in integrating technology in teaching and engagement strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree or teaching certification preferred)
• Experience in independent or Montessori education is a plus
• Commitment to fostering strong character and a supportive learning atmosphere
