The Sea Pines Resort is Hilton Head’s premier Beach and Golf Resort located along 5000 oceanfront acres for more than 50 years. Since 2009 the resort has been the only Hilton Head Island property to receive the Forbes Four‑Star Award. We are currently recruiting a Bellman for the Inn & Club at Harbour Town – Hilton Head’s No. 1 luxury hotel.

Job Summary

Greets and assists guests with parking and check‑in, helps to room guests, and provides special services as needed to make guests’ stays more enjoyable.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, open vehicle doors where practical, and provide information regarding parking and check‑in.
  • Secure guest luggage and personal items prior to check‑in or after check‑out.
  • Valet‑park guest vehicles and retrieve them at guests’ requests in a timely, effective, and courteous manner.
  • Assist butlers with rooming guests, explaining safety information, room features, and Inn facilities.
  • Interact with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Inn Butlers to enhance guest stays.
  • Explain resort amenities to guests and answer inquiries about shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Walk halls to clear room service items, trash, etc. when rooming guests.
  • Receive special requests from guests and meet their needs promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure guests consistently receive prompt, cordial attention, including personal recognition and appreciation.
  • Attend Inn Staff Meetings and participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Assist with housekeeping and janitorial duties as needed inside and outside the Inn.
  • Prepare guest packets and other clerical work as required.
Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee occasionally sits, climbs or balances, and stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Required Experience
  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Valid Driver’s License.
