Location: Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island.
Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing.
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, relationship management, and market development for our luxury resort property. This role requires a proven track record in hospitality sales, with a strong emphasis on resort experience and the ability to lead high-value accounts and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across all market segments.
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Represent the resort at industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a resort environment.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong knowledge of resort operations, luxury travel trends, and group sales dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience with luxury or upscale resort brands.
- Established network of meeting planners and corporate clients.
- Familiarity with revenue management principles and distribution channels.
- Delphi, Meeting Broker, and Cvent knowledge.
