Description
As the Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within assigned territories, developing product and disease‑state knowledge, creating local strategic plans, and managing budgets and expenses.
Job Responsibilities- Drive sales performance by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers, both in-person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.
- Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions to meet customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share information with internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and select appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, or system.
- Work with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives and capitalizes on formulary approvals and other business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
- Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.
- Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.
- Duties may change at any time with or without notice.
- 2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers; patient‑centricity is essential.
- High integrity and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Strong motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial drive, excellent decision‑making judgment, and teamwork/collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to learn and adapt in evolving environments, e.g., Covid‑19.
- Agility and adaptability to changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse audience.
- Work hours may include meetings outside of normal hours; some domestic and overnight travel may be required.
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range
$98,000 - $155,000
