About the RoleAs an IT Security Specialist, Identity & Access Management (IAM), you’ll support and improve access, permissions, and identity workflows across complex enterprise systems. You’ll work in a security-as-code environment where access changes are requested through pull requests, validated through CI/CD pipelines, and deployed into critical systems such as Okta, LDAP, and SCIM-connected platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving system access challenges, supporting users across technical levels, and ensuring secure, reliable identity operations.
Responsibilities- Monitor and support security change requests submitted through pull requests
- Review and track security-related changes through CI/CD pipelines to ensure successful deployment
- Provision, modify, and support user access to internal and cloud-based resources
- Manage permissions, team memberships, and identity configurations across IAM systems
- Support and troubleshoot access issues for technical and non-technical users
- Provision and manage secrets for systems and services
- Authorize and provision bots and service accounts
- Communicate status updates, blockers, and security-related issues clearly across teams
- Maintain and update documentation as tools, processes, and system knowledge evolve
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations in enterprise environments
- Strong hands‑on experience with Git Hub, including Git, pull requests, branches, merge conflict resolution, Git Hub Organizations, Teams, permissions, Git Hub Apps, and Git Hub Actions
- Experience managing and configuring critical security systems such as Okta, LDAP, and other IAM platforms
- Comfort working with command-line tools and technical troubleshooting
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment monitoring
- Ability to provision access to cloud resources and manage secrets securely
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to keep processes current as tools and systems evolve
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong customer‑service mindset, with the ability to triage, prioritize, and manage multiple requests effectively
- Comfort working in async communication channels such as Slack, pull request discussions, and issue tracking systems
- Self‑motivated, collaborative, and proactive in raising issues and sharing progress
