Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers in Hinckley who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing team.

You will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, with responsibilities including:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns
• Preparing partnership, trust and estate tax returns
• Preparing 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns
• Managing the P11D process and HMRC submissions
• Assisting with Trust Registration Service submissions and inheritance tax returns
• Supporting HMRC enquiries and advisory-related compliance work
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
• Supporting Tax Directors with ad hoc tax planning and advisory projects
• Assisting with the development of junior team members

• ATT / CTA Qualified (Training and QBE candidates also considered DOE)
• c.5+ years' personal tax experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong UK personal tax compliance knowledge
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients independently
• Experience with partnership, trust, estate and CGT compliance
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
