Junior Maintenance Engineer

Up to £34,000 + bonus

A vacancy has arisen for a Junior Maintenance Engineer to carry out calibration, maintenance and servicing of pharmaceutical production equipment. This role would suit an up and coming engineer looking for a fantastic employer to grow and learn.

• Proactive and reactive maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment - both 3rd party and in-house designed.
• Be responsible for carrying out all disciplines of maintenance and calibration to pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Following company SOPs and producing documentation and certification which is clear, precise and accurate.
• Conduct failure analysis and put forward recommendations to alleviate future failures, enhancing reliability.
• Using health & safety software to write risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work when necessary.
• Creating and updating records in the company quality management system (Q-Pulse).

• Have a minimum level 3 qualification in Engineering.
• Be flexible to occasional extended hours/weekend work (in addition to a normal 37 hour, 5 day shift operation).
• Be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment (existing knowledge of GMP practices beneficial but not essential).
• Have experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Have an analytical mind with acute attention to detail.
• Have good problem-solving abilities.
• Be a strong team player.
