Salary£24,900 and rising annually throughout the program to a finishing apprenticeship wage of £33,900.

An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable, real‑life experience. We are looking for apprentices to join our Manufacturing Engineering teams. The team is responsible for designing and improving high‑quality, low‑cost processes to assemble and test our building and construction products.
QualificationsIn collaboration with University of Coventry, a 5‑year degree apprenticeship will enable you to grow and develop. Apprentices will spend at least 20% of working hours completing learning leading to nationally recognised qualifications through the Level 6 Manufacturing Engineer apprenticeship standard:
- Level 6 Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship certificate
- BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering
- Technical Analysis:
Evaluate production, cost, quality, safety, and environment aspects of assembly, testing, and painting. - Process Improvements:
Improve processes and workflow to meet customer needs for quality, cost, and demand while following rules and standards. - Collaboration:
Work closely with teams in Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain. - Skill Development:
Acquire skills needed to become a successful manufacturing engineer by working in different key areas of the business. - Attend university as part of the programme.
- GCSEs (Level
2):
Mathematics and English at Grade 4 (C) or above - A Levels (Level
3): 112 points from three A levels, including mathematics and a science‑based subject (three C grades or equivalent) - Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Engineering or related subject with a Merit profile
- Equivalent qualifications welcome, thus predicted grades may be submitted.
Successful completion is likely to lead to a permanent position within the team with opportunities for long‑term progression.
