Health and Safety Manager Engineering

Engineering Health and Safety Manager Leicestershire / South Derbyshire / North Warwickshire Office, Factory and Site visists plus some hybrid working Engineering Health and Safety Manager role within an established engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing business. The Engineering Health and Safety Manager position is a mid-level, hands-on role supporting health and safety and H&S compliance across manufacturing, fabrication, and site-based engineering activities.

The company designs, manufactures, installs, and services industrial machinery across a stable customer base. The Engineering Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for producing and managing risk assessments and method statements, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting engineering teams across both factory and customer site environments. Duties within the Engineering Health and Safety Manager role include maintaining H&S records, training and certification tracking, induction management, and ensuring audit readiness.

The Engineering Health and Safety Manager will also carry out regular site visits, typically three days per week, across engineering and manufacturing environments. Candidates for the Engineering Health and Safety Manager role should have experience in health and safety within engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing. A NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required, along with strong knowledge of risk assessments and UK H&S regulations.
