Estimator, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Estimator
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum
Days – Permanent

Do you have experience within Aerospace Engineering, Cost Estimation, or Manufacturing Planning?

Are you confident interpreting engineering drawings, creating cost estimates, and working closely with customers and production teams?

• Producing accurate quotations from customer drawings and specifications
• Creating detailed manufacturing cost estimates and bills of materials
• Developing production and manufacturing process sheets
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to support quotation activities
• Analysing margins and identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Supporting new project introductions and awarded contracts into production
• Working closely with Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams
• Assisting with the preparation of commercial proposals and winning new business

• Proven experience within an Aerospace Engineering environment
• Background in fabrication, press work, or complex manufacturing processes
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and complex BOMs
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
  High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
