Are you an experienced Automotive Engineer with a background in vehicle testing, instrumentation or RLD This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex vehicle development projects, preparing vehicles for testing, collecting and analysing data, and providing technical insight to support engineering decisions.
This Senior Automotive Engineer job will suit:
 
* An experienced Automotive Engineer, Vehicle Test Engineer, Development Engineer, Vehicle Attributes Engineer or RLD Engineer.
 
* Someone with experience working with vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition systems and test equipment.
 
* Engineers who have worked with technologies such as CANbus, transducers, thermocouples or load cells.
 
* Someone comfortable with both hands-on vehicle preparation/testing and technical data analysis.
 
* You will hold a BEng or Meng in mechanical engineering, electrical electronic engineering, automotive engineering, or similar engineering discipline
 
* A strong communicator who enjoys working with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
This Senior Automotive Engineer job will involve:
 
* Instrumenting vehicles with a range of sensors and data acquisition equipment for development testing.
 
* Installing transducers, load cells, thermocouples and CANbus systems onto vehicles.
 
* Supporting road load data and vehicle development projects from setup through to final reporting.
 
* Carrying out vehicle testing on proving grounds and public roads.
 
* Validating, processing and analysing test data to identify trends and compare against requirements.
 
* Producing technical reports and supporting customers with engineering insights.
 
* Working with wider engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve test processes.
This Senior Automotive Engineer job is based in Hinckley and is commutable from Nuneaton, Atherstone, Tamworth, Lutterworth, Coventry, Leicester and surrounding areas.
