Overview
Following continued development within the Maintenance department, we're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to manage and resolve reactive breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum. Working a Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm day shift, the Maintenance Engineer will provide mechanical maintenance to a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery.
Responsibilities- Mechanical repairs to gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks
- Investigate reported faults, identify the cause and decide the necessary course of action to rectify the fault
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Engineering environment including fault-finding and repairing CNC multi-axis machines
- Salary up to £35,000
- Holidays 25 days plus 8 bank holidays; holiday pro-rated to start date
- Company holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December
- Stakeholder pension scheme; company contributes 3%
- Day shift hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
The role is commutable from Leicestershire towns:
Leicester, Loughborough, Coalville and Hinckley.
