Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Role &

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at a state-of-the-art automated site, you'll be responsible for maintaining high-speed machinery in a fast-paced, environment. Working within a large team on a 4 on 4 off shift (days & nights), you'll carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance of automated equipment
• Fault-finding on Siemens S7 PLC systems and control panels
• Supporting efficient production through timely maintenance and issue resolution
• Working with conveyors, mixers, ovens, and kilns
• Contributing to continuous improvement at Europes fastest-producing site

The ideal candidate will have:

• Mechanical qualifications with strong electrical skills
• Experience in FMCG or heavy industrial environments
• Confident in fault-finding on Siemens PLCs and control panels
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-output, automated environment
• Hands-on experience with Siemens S7
• Knowledge of large-scale automated machinery
• Previous work in dusty or challenging production settings
• Adaptability to work within a large, collaborative engineering team
