Bookkeeper

BOOKKEEPER| PERMANENT | PART TIME Sapcote, Leicestershire £39,000 FTE (£31,200 pro rata) ? 30 hours per week | 4 or 5 days considered with flexible hours I'm currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join a growing organisation based in a beautiful countryside location with excellent parking. This is a hands-on, all-round finance role where you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working closely with senior management and supporting the wider organisation.

The role You'll have responsibility across the full 360 finance function, including:
* Managing purchase and sales ledgers
* Bank reconciliations and management of bank accounts
* Payroll, pensions, PAYE and P11D
* Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
* Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Financial analysis and presenting key information to senior stakeholders
* Processing supplier and other payments
* Maintaining accurate accounting records and financial controls
* Supporting statutory reporting and year-end accounts
* Managing financial queries with suppliers and external stakeholders
* Producing reports and analysis to support business decisions
* Supporting and working closely with a Finance & Payroll Administrator
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and financial controls What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is confident taking ownership of a finance function and enjoys a varied role rather than being restricted to one area of finance. You'll ideally have: ? Strong all-round finance experience ? Previous payroll experience ?

Experience with reconciliations, ledgers and month-end reporting ? Good knowledge of Excel and accounting systems - Sage experience would be advantageous ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy ? The confidence to analyse financial information and communicate findings ? Excellent organisational and time-management skills ? The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities This would suit an experienced Finance Officer, Senior Finance Assistant, Finance Manager or Accounts professional looking for a part-time role with genuine ownership and responsibility.
