£30,000 - 55,000 per year

• We are looking for a candidate with strong data platform knowledge, specifically in SQL, Python, and dashboard creation using Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx. You should also have advanced Excel skills. Experience in category data administration, data/process analysis and automation is essential. The ideal candidate is confident in developing intuitive dashboards and programs to enhance automation and user efficiency. A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required, along with extensive experience in creating dashboards and working within data-critical environments.

• In this role, I will direct the data gathering, mining, and processing of large volumes of data while creating appropriate models. I will explore, promote, and implement semantic data capabilities through techniques such as Natural Language Processing and machine learning. It will be my responsibility to define the scope of data analyses and present potential business insights to management using data visualization technologies.
  
  Additionally, I will conduct research on data model optimization and algorithms to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of data analyses. I will also support business processes by developing standards, automating data flows, and engaging with stakeholders.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, a minimum of 12 months, with a local company. The position is fully office-based, requiring my presence five days a week near Leicester (approximately 15-20 minutes from J21 Leicester Forest Junction M1). The role offers competitive pay rates ranging from £21 to £21.50 through FCSA Umbrella (inside IR35) and £15.60 to £16.00 PAYE. My working hours will be from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday to Thursday, with an earlier finish on Friday.
