CNC 5 Axis Miller​/Programmer

Family run precision engineering company founded in 1981. We have now grown to 40+ employees. We specialize in all aspects of CNC machining, but thrive machining tricky components that other companies struggle to machine. As well as CNC Milling and Turning we also offer EDM (Wire and Spark Eroding), Grinding (Cylindrical and Surface), Heat Treatment, Chemical Blacking, Titanium Anodising and other misc services.

We mainly service the F1 and Aerospace sectors.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC 5 Axis Miller/Programmer at the pinnacle of precision engineering, located in Hinckley, LE10 1YF
. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming 5 Axis CNC machines using Edge Cam, performing precise machining operations, and ensuring product quality throughout the production process. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the setup and operation of CNC equipment and collaborating with team members to optimize machining processes. Adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace are critical aspects of this role.

• Proficiency in CNC Programming, with experience in 5 Axis machine programming
• Skilled in Machining and operating CNC equipment with accuracy and precision
• Ability to provide guidance and support to team members, including Teaching and sharing industry best practices
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience in utilizing CAD/CAM software is a plus. We use Edge Cam and Solid Works.
• Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship in machining or related fields
