are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturer specialising in the design, build and testing of control panels and assembled electrical units for a range of industry sectors.

The Role

This role is of key importance to the continued growth and quality standards of the business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing and fault-finding electrical control panels, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. You'll work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure every panel leaving the factory meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Testing and inspecting control panels and assembled electrical units
  • Fault finding on built, wired and assembled control panels
  • Identifying potential problems with the design and build of control panels
  • Following and executing test procedures using both software and hardware
  • Creating accurate records and documentation of all test procedures and outcomes
  • Maintaining quality control procedures whilst adhering to safe working practices
  • Liaising with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement

What You'll Need

  • Experience testing and fault-finding electrical control panels or assembled electrical units
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
  • A methodical, detail-focused approach with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety and quality standards
  • Well organised, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Computer literate, with the ability to communicate and record information effectively
  • Able to communicate at all levels with a "can do" attitude
  • Willing to develop your skillset and progress within the business
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK, as our client does not hold a sponsorship licence
