£28 - £31 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35
12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities
Excellent opportunity for a Packaging Technician with Counterbalance Forklift experience who is looking for a long-term 12-month contract working with a global market-leading business.
Do you have previous experience working within packaging, warehouse operations, logistics or material handling? Are you looking for the opportunity to develop your skills, work alongside experienced Packaging Engineers and play a key role in supporting production operations?
This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products across the world. Due to continued growth within their Packaging Team, they are now looking to add a Packaging Technician to their specialist team.
In this role you will be working as part of the Packaging Team, supporting Packaging Engineers and ensuring returnable packaging assets are available, maintained and ready for use. You will also be responsible for coordinating repairs, carrying out asset counts and audits, supporting deliveries and loading/unloading activities and maintaining the packaging yard.
There is a strong opportunity for development and progression within the role, with a current Packaging Engineer having previously started their career as a Packaging Technician.
The role will be fully site-based, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, with overtime available when required.
The Role:- Supporting Packaging Engineers with forklift assistance, packaging operations and production requirements
- Coordinating packaging repairs, maintenance, asset counts and audits
- Supporting deliveries, receiving and loading/unloading activities
- 12 month initial contract, 37.5 hours per week, Inside IR35
- Previous experience within packaging, warehouse, logistics or material handling environments
- Counterbalance Forklift licence/experience essential
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Proactive, reliable and safety-conscious with strong communication and teamwork skills
