The Role

As a CNC Miller Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machinery and producing precision components to the required drawing, quality and production standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to experienced CNC Millers who are confident working within a precision engineering environment and understand the importance of producing quality components efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Operating CNC milling machines.
Loading and unloading components.
Following CNC programmes, engineering drawings and work instructions.
Making offset adjustments where required.
Monitoring machining processes and identifying any issues.
Carrying out in-process and final inspection.
Using precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.
Identifying and reporting quality or machining issues.
Working to tight tolerances and aerospace quality standards.
Maintaining accurate production and quality records.
Working efficiently to meet production requirements without compromising quality.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

About You

We are looking for experienced CNC Miller Operators with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.

You will ideally have:

Minimum 2 years' experience working as a CNC Miller Operator.
Previous experience operating CNC milling machinery.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience making CNC offset adjustments.
Experience using inspection and measuring equipment.
A good understanding of machining processes.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Aerospace experience would be advantageous, although strong precision engineering experience will be considered.
