  • Operating machinery and equipment safely in line with manufacturer guidance and Calor work instructions.

  • De-hooding, gas-charging, steam cleaning, and preparing LPG vessels for storage, refurbishment, or scrapping.
  • Managing inbound and outbound trailers and directing vehicles to designated bays.
  • Completing trailer load inspections to ensure tank quality, safety, and legislative compliance.
  • Capturing, recording, and tracking LPG vessel serial numbers.
  • Reporting accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards via the safety management system.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and organisation at all times.
  • Working closely with the Tank Yard Supervisor and fellow operatives to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in an industrial, yard, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and compliance.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding, outdoor role.
  • Good attention to detail, particularly with record-keeping and asset tracking.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and operate equipment safely.
  • Clear communicator with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and hold a Counterbalance FLT licence.
  • Experience working with LPG vessels or hazardous materials.
  • Understanding of occupational and process safety.

What We Offer

  • Full Calor PPE provided, including fleeces, coats, warm hats and weather gear
  • On-site parking

  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Matched pension contributions of up to 7.5%
  • Life Assurance (4x salary)
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Access to retail discounts and wellbeing support

We are here to make sure you’re comfortable in your working environment.
