Quality Engineer
Salary£49,500 - £61,800 depending on skills demonstrated / SG22

The OpportunityAs a Quality Engineer, you will ensure materials, processes and products meet company and customer quality standards across all products and projects. The role focuses on auditing, quality data analysis and supporting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) within a regulated environment. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and support ongoing quality improvement.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Perform audits across materials, processes and products to ensure conformance to company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Review internal and external non-conformances, analyse trends and support Root Cause Corrective Action with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
- Conduct measurement systems analysis and analyse quality data to identify issues, risks and improvement opportunities, communicating findings clearly.
- Maintain accurate quality system documentation and records, ensuring compliance within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Participate in and provide technical support for internal and external audits, including follow-up, tracking and closure of corrective actions.
- Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) activity focused on defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste.
- CPI Black Belt training will be provided.

Uses a structured approach to review information, identify quality issues and make sound day-to-day decisions within agreed processes. Understands when to act independently and when to elevate or involve others. - Project Management:
Supports multiple quality-related activities by planning tasks, tracking actions and understanding key milestones and deliverables.
- Problem Solving:
Applies recognised problem-solving tools to investigate quality issues, understand root cause and support corrective actions using data and facts. - Quality Management System (QMS):
Works confidently within a QMS environment, following required processes and documentation, monitoring quality metrics and supporting audits and corrective actions.
