They now seek a friendly, well-presented Used Car Handover Specialist to support customers at the most important part of the purchase journey — collection day. UsedCar Handover Specialist Role:
- Conduct final quality and presentation checks before handover — including fuel levels, cleanliness, fitted accessories and vehicle condition.
- Prepare and organise all handover documentation, such as sales contracts, finance agreements, service history, registration forms and user manuals.
- Welcome customers on collection, guide them through the vehicle handover and demonstrate key features, controls and technology to ensure full confidence in their new car.
- Deliver a professional, friendly and customer-focused experience at every handover, maintaining brand presentation and communication standards.
- Carry out post-handover follow-ups where required — offering support with after-sales queries, road-tax, insurance or general vehicle questions.
- Work closely with sales, admin, valeting and workshop teams to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready on time, supporting smooth customer handovers and showroom flow.
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
- Previous experience in vehicle handover, delivery, or a customer-facing role within automotive or retail.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for presentation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills — able to present vehicles confidently, explain features and paperwork to customers.
- Good administration and organisational skills, including handling documentation and finance/paperwork accurately.
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours (collections may occur at varied times).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (sales, valuation, valeting, workshop, delivery teams).
