Trainee Bus Driver

Pay rate: £13.45 – £33.86 per hour.

• Training (4‑6 weeks): £13.45 per hour
• During mentoring – Monday to Friday: £13.55 per hour (£14.05 after 6pm)
• Saturday: £14.55 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holiday: £15.55 per hour
• After training – Monday to Friday: £15.05 per hour (£15.55 after 6pm)
• Saturday: £16.05 per hour
• Sunday: £17.05 per hour
• Bank Holiday: £33.86 per hour

• Full paid training to obtain your PCV licence at the Arriva Training School.
• Mentoring for several weeks following training.

5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned 6‑8 weeks in advance.

Shift start times: 04:00 (mornings), 12:00 (afternoons), 18:00 (evenings).

No fixed early, afternoon or evening shifts. Overtime available upon request.

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have driven for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on the licence.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
