The role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to support skip work operations on a temporary, days-based assignment. This is a hands-on driving role suited to someone who takes pride in safe, dependable vehicle operation and professional service.

Key responsibilities

Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
Carrying out skip work and related collection or delivery duties
Completing vehicle checks before and after journeys
Securing loads and following safe working procedures
Completing delivery, collection and vehicle paperwork accurately
Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with site staff and customers
Reporting any vehicle defects, delays or issues promptly
Following road transport, site and health and safety requirements

Skills and qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
Practical experience of skip work or similar collection and delivery duties
Good knowledge of safe loading, load security and vehicle checks
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Good communication and customer service skills
A responsible approach to driving and workplace safety
