Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative and become a vital part of our logistics and supply chain operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth handling, storage, and movement of goods within our facility. Your proactive approach will help maintain efficiency, safety, and quality standards across all warehouse activities. Shifts
Days and nights available, full time, part time
Pay rates
£12.71p/h-£14.93p/h
Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
* Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
* Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
* Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
* Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
* Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
* Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
Skills
* Proven experience in warehouse operations including manual handling
* Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements
* Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
