Overview
Performance Expert (R2PC) - Fort Stewart, Georgia. This role supports the Resilience Training/Ready and Resilient Performance Center Program to optimize mental and physical health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Unit Leaders, Families, and Department of Defense personnel at Army Installations. The program provides specialists focused on optimizing health and sustains related Army training and education programs across Army installations.
Responsibilities- Master Resilience Trainers instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength, conditioning, and resilience, ensuring durability. Certified Performance Experts conduct training intake/registration, initial unit contact, observation, development of training plans, prepare and tailor course material, produce and distribute course material, facilitate training events, grade student materials, and document grades in required databases.
- Assess training impact by distributing surveys, summarize training activities in After-Action Reviews (AARs) for every session, provide AARs to leadership within five workdays, and compile quarterly data analyses. Maintain records of trainings and observe instructors, providing delivery feedback.
- Complete initial instructor certifications to ensure effective delivery. Align training with unit missions and incorporate resilience and performance enhancement into higher level guidance and training. Deliver practical, applicable training on mental skills and techniques to foster professional climates based on mutual trust and cohesive teams.
- Provide tailored educational programs and workshops to help personnel in demanding environments achieve personal, professional, and family goals.
- Education:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology. - Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DoD personnel.
- Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, regulations, and DoD policies relevant to the Army.
- Prior to performing PE tasks, PEs shall be evaluated and certified to ensure ability to deliver lessons.
- Certifications or memberships related to the field (e.g., AASP, CMPC, ABSP) or the ability to obtain within one year of hire.
