Base pay range

$22.60/hr - $23.00/hr

This position requires biweekly travel to Savannah and Richmond Hill.

Your Typical Day:

  • Partnering with managers to establish a positive and healthy organizational experience and work culture that influences retention and minimizes turnover.
  • Assisting managers with identifying and coordinating enhanced training for associates to promote growth and remediate performance challenges.
  • Facilitating onboarding experience ensuring new associates are aware of how to be successful at work.
  • Acting as a liaison for management teams with human resources to support recruitment, new associate identification, and on-site problem mitigation (triage and remediate proactively).
  • Assisting Associates with access to Mission Services programs, continuing education, and internal training programs.
  • Primary partner for onboarding of new associates at time of hire acting as interface with HR for new hire paperwork, helps conduct in-person orientation, provides site specific information, and establishes “buddy” system.
  • Developing and implementing methods to help instill understanding of organizations mission, vision, values, and equity while correlating to overall organizational strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Assisting with select frontline associate training programs and champions on-going job & organization specific training (E.G., exceeding expectations, customer service, safety, mandatory trainings, etc.).
  • As necessary, assisting Associates with barrier removal to allow for highest levels of achievement both personally and professionally.
  • Connecting Associates to internal resources designed to reduce financial hardships.
  • Working with Mission Services Staff and Operations Trainers to develop career development plans for internal and/or external growth paths.
  • Bridges internal development with external development understanding that internal pathways reside with Operations Trainers, and external pathways reside with the Opportunity Center.

What you need:

  • You have an associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in case management, career counseling, or employment service programs preferred.
  • You can work with limited supervision.
  • You have strong communication ability with all levels of Associates, senior leaders, and external partners.
  • You can develop and maintain positive working relationships with Associates.
  • You can effectively with referral sources and case coordination staff to ensure the continuity of services.
  • You are proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft office suite.
  • You have a positive attitude, pay attention to detail, and can effectively manage multiple priorities and Associate case load.
  • You possess a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • You can work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required.
  • You can travel to events and sites across Goodwill SEGA’s territory as needed.
