Bank of America maintains an in‑office culture with specific office‑attendance requirements and a flexible approach tailored to each role. A successful candidate will begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses (Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7, Series 66), receive training in client relationship management, and then work in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions. After demonstrating success as a Stage I advisor, the role can progress to Stage II, expanding client portfolios and advancing into broader opportunities across Bank of America and Merrill.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements; all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the Federal Registry System, maintain good standing, and pass required background checks. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination.

- Grow your business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
- Earn your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66) through structured lessons and dedicated study time. You must obtain your SIE within 30 days of being hired and your Series 7 & 66 within 120 days – a requirement for the role.
- Build your network. Starting at a financial center, you’ll interact with banking customers, small‑business owners, and higher‑net‑worth clients alike. You’ll be able to leverage our relationships with one out of two U.S. households to help eventually grow your business.
- Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners. Connect clients to the solutions we provide through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all their financial needs.
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
- Must be self‑disciplined in managing time and capacity.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
- Success in creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrates a results‑driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

This position is open for the entire market and the specific Financial Center location will be based on business needs. If you are offered a position, you will train at one financial center, and then potentially begin your role in a phone‑based capacity until another financial center location has been determined to move to that is within a reasonable commuting distance of your home to the extent permitted by applicable law.
