Operations Manager

Do you excel at transforming complex operations into seamless, efficient systems? If so, join us as our next Operations Manager at our DTM Location in Hingham, MA and lead the charge in optimizing our manufacturing.

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role provides leadership to cross-functional teams, manages resources, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to support company goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational experience and a hands-on leadership style in a capital equipment or engineered-to-order environment. With direct experience in the automated packaging machinery industry is highly desirable but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Must have experience in a capital equipment, custom machinery, or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment, with working knowledge of fabrication, machining, electrical/mechanical assembly, and shipping/logistics workflow.
• Familiarity with automated packaging equipment or motion-control-based systems is a plus.
• Strong skills in budget development and oversight.
• Proficient in production planning systems (ERP/MRP) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, improving processes, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification is preferred.
