Shuttle Bus Driver (non-CDL)

Location:

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living, Hingham, MA.

Per diem position; compensated $19 per hour.

• Transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
• Operate non‑CDL passenger buses, vans, and sedans; vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Assist passengers with boarding and off‑boarding from the vehicle.
• Prepare vehicles for usage, including performing pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, refueling, and other related tasks.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles.
• Log and track vehicle usage.

• Previous transportation services experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license maintained as a condition of employment.
• Must possess or obtain a current and valid DOT Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate indicating successful completion of a DOT Physical Examination prior to starting; maintained as a condition of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Minimum age 21 to drive.
• Ability to operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts, including securement systems, and to operate community vehicles safely – demonstrated by successful completion of a road test.
