Process Engineer AB

Join a dynamic team in Hinton, Alberta as a Process Engineer focused on optimizing mill operations and improving production efficiency. Support safety and excellence by collaborating with various engineering and operations teams.
This full-time permanent role reports to the Superintendent Process Engineering. The successful candidate will leverage their engineering expertise to drive continuous improvement, enhance productivity, and address process issues. Responsibilities include optimizing processes, developing KPIs, and monitoring critical variables to ensure operational quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for process efficiency

• Troubleshoot process control issues and analyze performance data

• Optimize operating conditions to improve safety and efficiency

• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process enhancements

• Mentor and develop engineering and operational teams
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering

• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred

• Knowledge of process control systems and data tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work independently and in teams
