We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee building, grounds, guest areas, amenities, parking, and staff housing at a hospitality property. You’ll lead the maintenance team, coordinate daily work, manage preventative maintenance, and ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well maintained.
Location:Jasper, AB Pay: $60,000-$72,000/year
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise the Maintenance team
- Schedule and assign daily maintenance activities
- Manage work orders, preventative maintenance, inspections, and records
- Oversee building systems, equipment, vehicles, and staff housing
- Manage parts, tools, supplies, and external contractors
- Support renovations, capital projects, and seasonal property openings/closings
- Conduct property inspections and address safety or maintenance concerns
- Ensure compliance with safety, building, health, sanitation, and pool regulations
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent maintenance issues
- 3+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building systems
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with scheduling, documentation, work orders, and basic computer systems
- Able to read blueprints and technical documents and safely use tools
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to safety and quality
- Flexible to work varied shifts and participate in on-call rotation
- Valid Alberta driver's licence;
Class 4 is an asset - Commercial kitchen or pool maintenance experience is an asset
