As a Registered Nurse in this program, you’ll be mentored by experienced peers while learning to provide comprehensive patient care. The GNTPP involves two phases: the first phase focuses on personalized orientation, while the second gives you the confidence to practice independently. This carefully structured program allows you to transition smoothly into your nursing career, supported every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide diverse nursing services to patients and families
• Utilize critical thinking in nursing processes
• Teach and counsel patients effectively
• Play a leadership role in patient care
• Advocate for health promotion and maintenance
Requirements:
• Completion of accredited nursing education program
• Eligible for registration with the CRNA
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP)
• Graduated within 12 months of the anticipated start date
• Familiarity with UNA Letter of Understanding #29
