Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Work Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Specialized Post‑Surgical Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures. Focus on pain management, wound care, mobility, prevention of complications, and patient/family education.
- Acute Medical & Telemetry Care: Manage the care of general medical patients and those requiring cardiac monitoring.
- Relationship‑Based Practice: Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care that respects cultural diversity.
- Team Collaboration & Safety: Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team in a unit recognized for excellence (Prism Award). Participate in shared governance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Professional Development: Maintain clinical competencies, may serve as a preceptor/mentor, and contribute to a positive, healthy work environment dedicated to staff retention and professional growth.
- Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi‑State Compact RN license.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. BSN preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Experience in Post‑Surgical, Med Surg, Telemetry, or Acute Care is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Positive energy, enthusiasm for quality care, strong empathy, excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, time‑management, decisive function in fast‑paced environment, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
