Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) - East Paulding Pediatrics

Wellstar Health System invites applications for the Registered Nurse Supervisor role in East Paulding Pediatrics.

Under the general direction of the physician and/or office manager, the RN Supervisor provides nursing care, supervises departmental staff, and ensures effective nursing services in alignment with policies, standards and regulations.

• Develop and maintain an environment that supports professional nurses and staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee bedside nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Lead and support survey readiness efforts and back‑office clinical operations.
• Promote clinical competency and maintain clinical quality control.
• Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and unlicensed staff.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with Wellstar Clinical Champion Forum policies.

• Licensure: RN – Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT – RN – Multi‑state Compact.
• BLS or BLS‑I – Basic Life Support (Instructor) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, evidence‑based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

• RN – Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT – RN – Multi‑state Compact.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse; supervisory experience preferred.

• Knowledge of national nursing standards and healthcare procedures.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with staff, providers, and patients.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.
• Team building, delegation, and leadership abilities.
• Basic computer and technology skills to support clinical care.
