We're recruiting an Electrically Biased Shift Engineer to join our team near Letchworth , reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Leader. You'll be apprenticeship‐qualified or hold an equivalent engineering qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

* Carrying out preventative maintenance

* Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines and control panels

* Responding to breakdowns

* Supporting new machinery installations

* Contributing to engineering projects

* Driving continuous improvement within the engineering team

* Identifying and resolving ongoing issues with long‐term solutions

* Working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift (days & nights)

Technical Requirements

* Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electro‐Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Strong mechanical and electrical competence

* Confident with electrical and PLC fault finding
