The Job:

The Senior Network Support Engineer sits in our third line managed services, and plays a key role in maintaining and supporting both internal and external network infrastructure and services. The role focuses on the management, operation, and support of network systems and equipment. You will respond to incidents, service requests, and system‑generated events, ensuring stability, performance, and excellent customer experience. Additionally, this role requires participation in our Out of Hours rota (approx 1 in every 4 weeks)

What we Looking for:

* Previous experience in a network‑focused IT service role

* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, JNCIA, etc.)

* Strong experience configuring and supporting routers and switches

* Demonstrated experience in managing Cisco and/or Fortinet technologies

* Experience with security products, especially Cisco ASA & Firepower

* Understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)

* Experience with monitoring tools (Libre

NMS, Fortinmanager, Nagios)

* Knowledge of network security, AAA, TACACS, RADIUS, 802.1X

* Good understanding of wireless systems (Meraki, Ubiquiti, Cisco, etc.)

* Experience using ITSM tools for ticketing, time logging, and remote support

* Strong documentation skills (network diagrams, troubleshooting guides, WIs)
