Overview

Berry House Vets, Hitchin, is looking for a friendly and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive and experienced team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of treatments and procedures while being part of a fun, professional environment.

As an RVN at Berry House, you’ll be involved in a variety of nursing duties including patient care, nurse clinics, theatre work, and supporting a wide range of treatments and procedures. Our nurses are encouraged to use their full potential and make the most of the advanced equipment available, including laparoscopy, digital x-ray (including dental), multiparameter monitoring, and Phovia.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift patterns: 7:30-16:00, 8:00-16:30, 10:00-18:30, with occasional duty shifts 15:00-21:45
• Weekends 1 in 7: 9:00-15:00 and 8:30-12:30
• No out-of-hours calls; reception staff cover opening hours

Berry House Vets is a well-established, single-site small animal practice in the centre of Hitchin. The practice is just five minutes from the mainline station into London and ten minutes from the bustling High Street, offering a mix of cafes, high street shops, and independent retailers.
