- Board Status: BC/BE in Colon and Rectal Surgery
- State License
Required:
Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain - Certifications:
DEA, BLS, ACLS - Experience:
Prior inpatient and outpatient surgical experience preferred; proficiency in robotic-assisted surgery required - Additional
Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to quality care, and ability to work within a collaborative surgical team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full-spectrum colorectal and general surgical care, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures
- Perform inpatient rounding, outpatient consultations, and follow-up visits
- Participate in General Surgery call rotation (1:4)
- Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and care coordination
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the growth and leadership of the surgical program within Community Healthcare System COMMUNITY & LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS
